Customer Services Representatives

A new company licensed to supply propane in the Cayman Islands is currently taking applications for the position of Customer Service Representative. We are looking for a person that is highly motivated and has exceptional customer services skills.  Clean Gas is a customer satisfaction driven company.

Our Customer Service Representatives are key in retaining our customers and growing our business. We will provide the best customer service training possible so that you can proactively promote Clean Gas. Under the guidance of management, you will be tasked with ensuring the customer has an excellent experience while interacting with you and other customer service staff.
Your primary responsibilities will include setting up new accounts, data entry, running inventory reports, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Collections functions and basic forecasting, route maintenance, and tank/vehicle utilization reports.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a high a volume customer service role
  • Must be fluent and proficient in English with excellent phone etiquette
  • ECE skills a plus, but will train the right person
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office, data entry, and the ability to run and analyze reports
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a team environment
  • Sales oriented

Salary:

  • Compensation is hourly, and paid bi-weekly.
  • Rate of compensation will be up to C.I. $12.00 per hour.
  • Standard 45-hour work week, Mondays through Saturday.
  • Over time when accrued will be 1.5 times current rate of pay.

Job Summary:
The role of the Customer Service Representative is to ensure that all steps and processes associated with the on-boarding and roll-out of new account customers are completed accurately.  These data integrity and related processes are in place to ensure that all new customer locations are invoiced and propane is delivered on time, in accordance with the applicable contract terms.  The candidate will provide expert value-added customer service and consultation to customers and field operations that enhance the customer experience.  The Customer Service Representative will also track the progress of each new location, work to resolve obstacles and closely communicate with the manager on all issues related to the customer experience.

Key Characteristics:

  • Detail-oriented – Strong organizational skills are required as the candidate will work on resolving data integrity and other obstacles across numerous accounts, each of which will have multiple locations serviced by various districts.
  • Relationship Builder – The ability to develop strong relationships with customers and field operations to ensure all obstacles are resolved within the customer’s expected time frame.
    Follow-through – The ability to work through numerous related customer requests and bring each to its full conclusion.
  • Strong Communicator – Clear communication skills are needed to partner with customers and districts to ensure proper alignment on all customer requests.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Actively manage and bring to its full conclusion the detailed on-boarding steps required for Clean Gas to begin servicing a new customer account that is consistent with the customer’s contract terms.
  • Review and confirm the data integrity for each individual new customer setup in our back-office system.  Close all gaps in the data prior to beginning propane deliveries.  This includes all storage objects, materials and forecast hierarchies.
  • Review and confirm the data integrity for current customers.  Ensure that the master data is consistent through all respective customer data sets.
  • Accurately map all proposed new customer locations to determine which locations are serviceable by our field operations team.
  • Identify customer locations that are currently being serviced by Clean Gas to validate volume, delivery frequency and pricing details are in accordance with the customer agreement.
    Frequently report on the progress and obstacles encountered for all assigned and active new customer rollouts.
  • Actively manage resale dispenser training schedules by ensuring that our field operations team has set the schedule, communicated with the local dispenser customer and completed the training as intended.

Objectives:

  • Provide an excellent customer experience throughout all aspects of customer interaction to ensure long term customer retention. Additionally, the Customer Service Representative is the inside source of knowledge that represents a portion of the sales concierge for the customer.
  • Ensure that throughout the customer onboarding process, all Clean Gas safety processes have been followed and documented. This is required to ensure compliance with NPGA codes for existing customers and any new customers’ that are onboarded.
  • Compile the data which has been captured by the service manager, and verify the accuracy of the data for digital mapping to streamline service and delivery routing.
  • To develop an accurate and complete data base that fully represents the classification of each customer, either by gallons, or business type.
  • The Customer Service Representative builds rapport with the customer and is the liaison between them and the administrative team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Detail oriented and consistently follows up on tasks until project is complete.
  • Strong customer service, communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software package.
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision.

Education and Experience Required:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience preferred with 3 to 5 years’ experience in an office environment handling customer accounts.
  • Being detail oriented is a must.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate with customers and field operations.
  • Computer knowledge a must.

Propane Service Tech 1

A new company licensed to supply propane in the Cayman Islands is currently taking applications for the position of Propane Service Tech 1. We are looking for persons with exceptional customer service skills because Clean Gas is a customer satisfaction driven company.

As a Propane Service Tech 1 you will represent the face of the company to our customers, while performing service detailed work. As a Clean Gas representative in the field, you will be an integral part of the customer service team, providing outstanding service to our residential and commercial customers as a trusted and qualified propane service technician. Additionally, as a part of your employment with Clean Gas Ltd, you will be trained and expected to sell, install, and maintain safe/reliable propane systems for our customers. At times you will also be required to conduct systems tests, purge, repair, install propane tanks, and maintain cylinders, along with other company equipment consistent with company standards to ensure system integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Experienced driver of heavy trucks for a minimum of 4 years
  • Propane experience with C.E.T.P. certifications a plus, but will train the right person
  • Must comprehend and be fluent in English
  • Clean driving record with a Group 4 Driver’s License.
  • Ability to lift and pull equipment from 50 to 150 lbs.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Positive attitude, and ability to sell
  • Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions

Propane Delivery Driver

A new company licensed to supply propane in the Cayman Islands is currently taking applications for the position of Propane Delivery Driver. We are looking for persons with exceptional customer service skills because Clean Gas is a customer satisfaction driven company.
As a Propane Delivery Driver, you will represent the face of the company to our customers while delivering propane to both residential and commercial customers. This is a challenging position that will allow you to develop the right skills to succeed. You will receive CETP training on the use of our equipment to ensure safe operation always. To assist you with your day-to-day duties, we have equipped all of our vehicles with the latest delivery and routing technology to ensure the product arrives to the customer safely, on-time, and with ease to our customers.

Qualifications:

  • Experienced driver of heavy trucks for a minimum of 4 years
